Pike, perch, trout, roach, rudd, dace and ruff, eel and lamprey. Bassenthwaite Lake holds all these for a hungry fish-eating family. (NO fattening chips.)

On the coast Ospreys eat surface swimming and estuarine fish such as mullet and flat fish. In Africa they catch the bony flying fish as they cut the water. They cannot be said to be fussy eaters as long as it is fish.

So, with such bounty available the question is, ‘What do Mother Ospreys teach their chicks to say as grace before dinner?’

(Don’t think about it too hard)
