Mrs. No-ring has been sitting on egg/s for 22 days now (If we are correct with our start date, 26th April.) This means that she is over half way through.   • 2004 most closely mirrors the current dates to give us an idea when hatching may occur.

    • Interestingly though, the current scenario with the new nest is similar to those first years 2001/2 when we had to rely on the birds’ behaviour rather than technology to tell us what was happening. It’s a bit like going back to the days of pre-scan pregnancies, where predicted dates held all the nervous excitement of anticipation rather than being entirely accurate.
